Our Mission

Kaikeha is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a purpose to engage the youth of Hawai’i in water sports activities in order to foster a lifelong respect and connection with the ocean by nurturing a competitive athletic spirit.

Our Events

Kaikeha is proud to support several, annual community events.

Garden Island Boogie Board Classic

The Garden Island Boogie Board Classic is Kaikeha’s “flagship” event. The 5th annual Garden Island Boogie Board Classic is scheduled for Summer 2023.

Kaikeha's World Champ Clinic

Kaikeha’s World Champ Clinic is a one of a kind community event. Stay tuned for information about Kaikeha’s upcoming World Champ Clinics.

Jeff Hubbard's Free Keiki Fest

Multiple world bodyboard champion Jeff Hubbard’s annual, free kids’ bodyboard contest. Divisions include 12 and Under, 12-15, Girls’ 16 and Under, and Tandem.

Our History

In November of 2018, Chris Burkart and Jeff Hubbard came together with the plan to put on a boogie board contest on our beloved island of Kaua’i. Given their love for the sport and their current accomplishments in life, both were in a place to give back to the community and the sport that gave and is still giving so much to them.
